and in reply to Lord Passfield said that the difficulty about

the Island was that it had not been found easy to select

areas sufficiently large and flat to accommodate the stations

which would be erected.

MR. GRIEVE suggested that it was essential to obtain official intimation from the Company as to the proposed site

of the now station.

MR. VERNON said he would either see or write to Sir

Basil Blackett, and obtain from him definite information as to the proposed site of the wireless station, and suggested that if the leased territory had been decided upon it might be necessary to refer the matter to the Committee of Impe ial

Defence.

MR. COOTH, in reply to Mr. Grieve, said that as far as

It was agreed:-

that Mr. Vernon should again get into touch with Imperial and International Communications, Limited, with a view to finding out definitely where it was proposed to erect the new wireless station and that the matter should be referred back to the Committee when this poing had been cleared up.
